FMX & ITFS 2017

I visited the FMX & ITFS 2017 – again, as I did in 2015. This year we’ve visited the conferences with the whole study course. If you’re an animation freak as I am, you know about Europe’s hugest conference dedicated to Digital Visual Arts and stuff. But I love the Festival of Animated Film (‘Internationales Trickfilm Festival’) even more, because of all the exciting and inspiring screenings.

FMX & ITFS 2017

VFX specialists and animation experts come every year to Stuttgart. At the FMX they present cutting-edge achievements, as well as state-of-the-art tools and pipelines. Also, you could learn about fascinating real-time technologies and have spectacular immersive experiences. Contributions of creatives around the world bring a huge variety. Also, top-notch studios and service providers scout talent at the Recruiting Hub and international schools to present their best projects.

The FMX conference offers you the best way to meet with the most influential players in the field.

The program shows the best-animated films of today. There are award ceremonies, workshops and a lot more.

I saw the animated short Impossible Figures and Other Stories II again. At this point, I’ve decided to write a paper about Marta Pajek’s work.
